Late Checkout

You can configure your Late Checkout (LCO) policy in a number of ways.

Don't Allow Late Checkouts

If you don't allow Late Checkouts, simply leave the boxes for each listing unchecked.

Allow Late Checkouts

If you allow Late Checkouts, it's a little more detailed.

If the Policy is the Same Across All Listings

If your Late Checkout Policy is the same across all listings, instead of checking each box one by one, you can bulk edit instead. To do this, click the "Check All" under the Late Checkout Header

If the Policy is Different Across Listings

If your Late Checkout Policy differs from listing to listing, check the box for each listing where you allow Late Checkouts.

It's easier to check all, set up the policy, and then deselect the listings for which it doesn't apply than setting up the policy one by one.

Different Configurations For When You Allow Late Checkouts

After clicking "Check-All" or "Edit" (if your policy is different from listing to listing), this modal will pop up.

If You Allow All Late Checkout Requests

If you allow all Late Checkout Requests, select the top button. So for every early check-in request from any guest, the AI will allow it.

If You Allow All Late Checkout When There Is No Same-Day Turnover

Select the second button if you only allow Late Checkout Requests when there is no same-day turnover. So for every Late Checkout request, the AI will only allow it if a guest isn't checking in earlier that day.

If You Allow Late Checkouts On a Case-by-Case Basis

Select the third button if you want the most control over Late Checkout Requests. Here, the AI will tell the guest that Late Checkouts are allowed on a case-by-case basis and will never approve any on its own.

Additional Options

Additional options are where you can add more granular detail about your Late Checkout. Here you are going to input two things:

  1. Latest Checkout Time: put the earliest time guests can checkout

  2. Fee: input the fee for Late Checkouts
