Alternate email addresses in HostAI allow your team to send and receive emails from multiple addresses, all within the same inbox. This is useful for managing different types of inquiries (e.g., hello@avantstays.com, info@avantstays.com) while maintaining the same support workflow.
Each alternate email address must share the same domain as your main support address and be forwarded to your HostAI inbox. Once set up, your team can reply to emails from these alternate addresses, making guest communication even more flexible and streamlined.
Within HostAI you can configure up to 10 alternate email addresses.
You can configure these at the bottom of Settings → Email page in HostAI.
Alternate email addresses must:
…have the same domain as the main support email. For example, if your main support email is help@avantstays.com then you could have hello@avantstays.com as an alternate addresses but not sales@tnt.com.
…be forwarded in the same way as your main help email to the email address HostAI provides you when setting up your email.
Once alternate emails are set up you can choose to reply from them when writing an email in HostAI. By default HostAI will always try to reply with the same email used by the customer.
